About the Department

Group International Management (GIM) provides management and governance oversight to our international branches, overseas banking subsidiaries, and private equity investment management subsidiaries to achieve sustainable development and contribution to UOB. Via our investment management platforms, we are able to provide financing to privately-held companies in ASEAN and China through direct equity investment. From offices in New York and Paris (aside from Singapore), we are also able to provide integrated asset management solutions with a comprehensive product range that serves institutional investors worldwide and to bring UOB\'s Asian regional investment strengths to clients outside that region who are seeking exposure in Asia - thus meeting clients\' needs across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Job Responsibilities

The Role is part of Business Management function that supports Head of GIM on performance management, management routines and strategic initiatives of the business units within GIM. Responsiblities include but not limited to:

• Support the setting and tracking of business unit performance measures and deliverables.
• Support business leadership teams and head office functions in rolling out and driving initiatives across different businesses/countries and functions. Surface key issues/potential detailers and manage follow-ups if any help is needed from head office stakeholders.
• Maintain data repositories and develop tools to facilitate analysis and reporting.
• Support management routines, dialogues and cadences between GIM and business units
• Prepare research, analysis and presentation materials on industry and products as required
• Support fundraising and support new business opportunities in private markets for UOB in Asia Pacific

Job Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree with good foundation in finance preferred
• 5-10 years of work experience in banking or financial industry; exposure to asset management is preferred
• Understanding of Institutional asset management across a broad range of alternative products is preferred
• Outstanding communication skills with both external and internal parties; capable of liaising effectively with global counterparts
• Good organisational skills, team player with excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Powerpoint
