About the Department

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities

Development and Application Build Management

• Assist business architects/analysts to design good application solutions to meet business needs and demands.
• Develop and maintain a robust and responsive application framework/solution that is not only scalable but also conforms to security and performance standards.

Responsible and lead a team of developers and deployment specialists to

• Develop, build and deploy applications to the Test and Production environments.
• Provide SIT and UAT support which includes (but not limited) to analyze/troubleshoot issues and defects,
• Responsible and ensure all environment specific configuration of each application is maintained and validated properly.
• Participate and contribute to the department\'s DevOps framework to achieve automation on application packaging and deployment (i.e: Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery)

Project and Technical Management

• Exercise Project Management skills to ensure deliverables will deliver within committed time and budget.
• Lead and execute technical activities like application development, deployment and optimization.
• Investigate and resolve development and deployment issues and provide technical support and troubleshooting.
• Manage technical performance assessment of applications and coding standards.

Relationship Management

• Maintain relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to articulate and communicate technicality with local/offshore software vendors.

Job Requirements

• At least 7 to 12 years of working experience on Internet Technology
• Good understanding of Java and internet-related components
• Technical competent with Oracle suite of middleware products and Unix O/S platform
• Experience with application build and deployment, including DevOps methodology and framework
• Minimum Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Systems or equivalent.
• Good communication and organization skills.

Good to have :

• Functional knowledge on Wholesale Banking and Payment is a plus

Essential Technical Skill :

• Unix/Linux O/S platform and scripting skills
• Java and internet-related components (i.e: JSON, XML, Open API, Microservices)
• Oracle suite of middleware products (i.e: OpenShift, Database)
• DevOps suite of products (i.e: Jenkins, GitHub, PuppetChef, Klockwork, Sonar, Aldon, etc)
