Vice President, Digital Forensics and Incident Response (\xe2\x80\x9cVP DFIR\xe2\x80\x9d)

In addition, Blackpanda successfully closed a $ USD Series A co-led by global leading private equity firms Primavera Venture Partners and Gaw Capital Partners.

What are we looking for:

Blackpanda seeks to hire a Vice President, Digital Forensics and Incident Response principally involved with building, developing and overseeing the Digital Forensics Incident Response capability of the company across the APAC region. The ideal candidate is independent, collaborative, and solution-oriented. He or she will work under the direction of our Chief Incident Response Officer for developing and managing our DFIR team. To be successful, the VP Digital Forensics and Incident Response should be equipped with both expert-level experience in DFIR matters as well as excellent proven leadership and strategic planning capabilities.

About the role:

Cash: USD$180,000 annum. No bonuses or commissions.

Equity: ESOP grant size of USD$150,000 at current Fair Market Value. Strike price set at current Fair Market Value, with a 5-year vesting period inclusive of a 1-year cliff..

The successful candidate will work closely and reports to the Chief Incident Response Officer.

Responsibilities and duties:

\xe2\x97\x8f Lead and manage the global DFIR team under the guidance of the Chief Incident Response Officer to deliver world-class, best-in-Asia DFIR services across all manners of specialization - BEC, ransomware, crypto asset tracing and recovery, OT, maritime environments, mobile, etc.

\xe2\x97\x8f Ensure delivery and execution of technical expertise in the DFIR cases activated through a high volume of SME insurance policy activations as well as select strategic enterprise DFIR cases in the Asia region

\xe2\x97\x8f Mentor, guide, and develop a current team of 10-12x DFIR specialists across the globe and hire 2x incoming Directors of DFIR (HK and SG) as direct reports and mid-level managers

\xe2\x97\x8f Design, plan, and implement a long-term strategy and objective of a 24/7 Follow the Sun DFIR model with Asia as the target market focus with teams in the APAC, US, and EU regions

\xe2\x97\x8f Collaborate cross-vertical to the Technology and Insurance leads on identifying and categorizing relevant cyber risk data collected from DFIR or other means for insurtech purposes

\xe2\x97\x8f Advise and coordinate with the CIRO on identifying tools, kit, and other tech products needed to be purchased or developed in-house with the CTO to maximize the efficacy of the DFIR team, particularly the scalability of the volume of DFIR cases the team can handle

\xe2\x97\x8f Optimize the DFIR service delivery via growth metric tracking and coordination with the Finance vertical to ensure maximum efficiency and ability to further scale the DFIR capacity via optimized processes

\xe2\x97\x8f Oversee the preparation and delivery of briefings, assessments, lessons learned, metrics analysis, after-action reports, and other program documentation, both verbally and in writing, to the client\'s executives, security team, and other key stakeholders.

\xe2\x97\x8f Ensures continuity of program activities and deliverables to support large projects and/or multiple simultaneous smaller projects.

\xe2\x97\x8f Serves as an expert resource for other team members to draw upon for cyber DFIR matters and operations

Qualifications and experience:

\xe2\x97\x8f A minimum of 3 years of experience leading complex cybersecurity programs and initiatives.

\xe2\x97\x8f At least 5 years of experience in cyber threat management, cyber risk management, and/or cyber security consulting.

\xe2\x97\x8f A minimum of 3 years of experience as a team leader, experienced in resource allocation, utilization optimization, and team development skills.

\xe2\x97\x8f Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to convey results clearly in formal technical reports and deliver briefings.

\xe2\x97\x8f Strong organizational & analytical skills.

\xe2\x97\x8f Demonstrated leadership and/or management capability.

\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to successfully interface with C-suite level clients (internal and external).

What we offer:

\xe2\x97\x8f This role is based in Singapore. With our \'Work From Anywhere\' policy, the successful candidate can work from anywhere for up to 30 days in a calendar year, subject to alignment with business and operational requirements, and being available for a minimum of 6 hours between 9am and 6pm Singaporean time zone to sync with the Tribe.

\xe2\x97\x8f 40 days paid leave per year to also be used in lieu of all gazetted Singapore holidays at user choice. This is due to the global arrangement of personnel with different public holidays and the requirement of the company to be on standby as a crisis response unit 24/7/365.

\xe2\x97\x8f Work-life balance - no scheduled internal meetings on Fridays, unless absolutely necessary.

Continuous learning:

Blackpanda will sponsor the cost of no less than one (1) training course each calendar topic of the training will be your choice, subject to approval by your manager, and will be no greater than USD$5,000 annually.
