About the Department
UOB's Human Resources team embarked on a major transformation journey in 2018. Since then the team has launched several award-winning people programs across the group in several countries. Technology is a key enabler in any transformation. With this aim we are now completely revamping the HR technology landscape at UOB. We started first by repurposing and reskilling HR technology team (Digital HR) as a strategic team. The team has been trained on human centered design and process reengineering and is currently implementing some of the best cloud-based technologies for HCM, Manpower planning, Data Analytics, Chat bots, Performance management, etc.
We are looking for passionate HR Transformation professionals who are excited to partner with the business in defining new ways of working, and enhancing HR processes efficiency and employee experience through the use of digital technology.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide advisory to HR Business users on HR Process Optimization and Efficiency, enabled through leading technology innovations
  • Participate in HR functions business requirements analysis and identify HR technology solution providers to address the technology needs for specific functions
  • Lead the full life cycle HR technology projects and the associated project planning activities
  • Support system fixes (i.e. configuration) and enhancements to digital platforms such as SAP HCM (On Prem) and SuccessFactors for continuous operations and innovation
  • Review, analyse and recommend adoption of cloud half yearly releases and monthly enhancement sprint to meet current and future strategic business needs
  • Develop, implement, and maintain user procedures, guidelines, and business processes documentation
  • Be the interlock between HR Business, technology partners and external vendors
  • Ensure compliance to governance standard, including performing annual audit on the human capital digital platform
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information systems/engineering/business/finance or equivalent
  • Minimum 7 to 10 years' experience as a functional business analyst, with hands-on experience in HR systems support.
  • Experience in SAP HCM (On Premise) and / or SuccessFactors is preferred
  • Understanding of project life cycle and technology development models
  • Knowledge of general HR processes and its integration with other process areas such as Payroll and Finance
  • Knowledge of business process reengineering is desirable
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Passionate, diligent individual with ability to work independently and thrive in ambiguity
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving and process design skills that can translate analysis into actions that meet business objectives
  • Experience in scoping and evaluation - Defining overall considerations, including scalability, maintainability, cost, operations and technology principal risk to provide a recommendation
  • Knowledge of Workday is a plus
