Business Function

Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Through our continued commitment, DBS has cultivated long-standing relationships with its customers in the region that are based on account relationship management, service differentiation, product development and rigorous credit standards.

As a Digital Loan Product Manager, this role will be part of the Loan Product Team covering Midcaps corporates and SME across all DBS locations. Candidate will work closely with various stakeholders across the region to understand & tailor our offering to differentiate and gain a competitive advantage in the markets we operate.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and deliver new business models and loan product innovation and initiatives.
  • Shape Loan Product and Customer Journey focusing on Digital Lending to achieve best in class customer experience.
  • Identify market changes, emerging trends, competitor landscape and customer\'s need to continuously refine our digital loan product proposition to gain competitive advantage for each of the markets.
  • Develop keen understanding of the in-country regulatory framework, suitability, credit risk and compliance requirements.
  • Work with key stakeholders, including Credit and Country teams to co-develop product offerings and provide support for in-country strategies.
  • Apply data driven operating model. Comfortable with large amounts of data, able to develop insights and drive business value.
  • Work closely with internal and/or external stakeholders across functions and teams to drive regional projects in product innovations and campaigns to deliver joint outcomes.
  • Communicate and generate support for recommendations among internal stakeholders and Senior Management across the organization.
  • Track, monitor and analyse key product metrics across the region, and come up with ideas and ways to continuously refine product offerings.
Requirements
  • The ideal candidate should have a strong background in quantitative analysis, preferably with 5- 10 years of relevant working experience in a fast-paced role with direct business impact.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, strong understanding of credit principles and SME loan products & solutions.
  • Meticulous, positive and optimistic;comfortable with ambiguity and highly adaptable to change.
  • Candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability and interest in the new digital economies.
  • Strong sense of commitment and accountability, possess a business focus mindset, and is comfortable in challenging the norms, open to new ideas and self-motivated to deliver work of the highest standard.
  • Candidate should be passionate about the customer experience and should be able to conceptualize and execute strategic initiatives independently in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills and and stakeholder management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and work with large cross-functional teams across regions.
  • Candidate should possess strong influencing and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative mind-set and will need to manage both external and internal stakeholders.
