  • Partner with business stakeholders and HR Relationship Managers to develop and implement practices and programmes with the objective of fostering positive employee relations.
  • Ensure that the strategies and decisions of the Bank are fair and inclusive for all employees.
  • Develop and implement plans, practices, and procedures to further support senior business stakeholders and HR Relationship Managers in the handling of complex employment matters.
  • Act as escalation point of contact to HR Relationship Managers for complex employee relations issues, including but not limited to employee discipline and misconduct, remediation of employment-related disputes, and employee terminations
  • Plan and lead investigations into employee relations issues and solving them in a fair and appropriate manner.
  • Collaborate with the Investigations team on investigations.
Governance
  • Understand the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s risk appetite and risk culture, and ensure that the Bank is compliant with relevant regulations and internal policies and procedures.
  • Govern the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s employee grievance and disciplinary processes.
  • Track, analyse and interpret employee conduct metrics
  • Assist management with the execution of compliance programs and audits.
  • Assist in-house legal team in coordination of documentation related to HR employment litigation.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, investigative and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills, with a proven ability to handle sensitive matters with tact and diplomacy and working collaboratively across multiple business lines with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels
  • Ability to effectively organise, prioritize and handle multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of employment policies, practices and employment law and regulations. Legal background is preferred
  • Experience coaching, consulting and advising employees, HR and business stakeholders
