The Company

Our client is a renowned US Commodity Trading MNC with over 60 years of history and strong global footprint across US, Europe and Asia. The company is a market leader with double digit growth across APAC region in the last few years. They are also focusing on renewable energy products with green energy revolution. With further expansion of their global business, they are currently recruiting for an VP Finance to oversee the APAC regional deal structuring and project financing for their growing business in power and utilities sector.

The Role

Reporting to the regional head of department, you will oversee a regional portfolio across APAC and working closely with the senior management team to develop innovative structured finance products that involve debt and equity market. Also, you are required to build financial model for valuation. This role will highly involved in driving negotiation with bankers, performing risk assessment and due diligence for the deals as well as contract drafting and documentation. Most excitingly, you will be highly involved in high growth products in the renewable energy, power and utilities sector. Travelling is up to 30% in the region.

Your Profile

To be a successful candidate, you must have

• Degree in Banking/Finance/Accounting, CFA is additional bonus
• At least 5-10 years of relevant industry background (investment banking/Big 4 Corporate Finance/trading and commodity industry highly preferred).
• Must have hands-on financial modelling skills
• Industry knowledge of power and utilities highly preferred
• Possess strong communication skills to drive business partner and build banking relations
• Must be a good team player who is proactive, flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment
