As a VP of Controllership, the key responsibilities include acting as a Finance business partner, providing controllership guidance to the business stakeholders, and ensuring financial reporting practices are adhered to IFRS, local accounting standards and internal policies. Be the expert for technical accounting matters \xe2\x80\x93 prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements, oversee, and analyse financial and operational performance indicators. Ensure governance control is maintained and to work on projects periodically to meet new accounting and business requirements.
The ideal candidate should come with at least 12 years of relevant working experience, within which a mix of Big 4 audit financial controllership experience. Advantageous if you come from the investment management industry. Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in accountancy is a must and professional certifications such as CA/CPA is preferred. Strong hands-on accounting experience is required \xe2\x80\x93 consolidation, financial reporting for legal entities, local tax regulations, external audit management, preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements etc. Excellent communication skills.
