  • Hands-on exposure to financial reporting at the group /HQ level, and consolidation is required. Prior experience assisting on M&A activities is required. Has experience managing bigger teams of more than 10 staff with excellent leadership/ coaching skillsOur client is a highly respected, renowned and international MNC. The co is listed with its global HQ based in Singapore. It has a huge presence in Singapore. The co also allows WFH for 2 days in a week.For this senior VP finance role, you play a leadership role leading a team of more than 25 staff (covering the following functions) and report to the global CFO.Business partnering and supporting post-M&A integration activities on a global scaleBe involved in strategic matters and doing post- M&A integration reporting.Financial Reporting, Consolidation. Oversee the timely and accurate preparation and consolidation of the quarterly financial results of the Group (and its subsidiaries). Oversee the annual Audit process and act as key liaison with the External Auditors. Ensure that the Group (including the subsidiaries and partnerships) is compliant with all statutory financial statement filings in all jurisdictions. Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of Board and Audit Committee presentation materials. Maintain an up-to-date understanding and knowledge of IFRS developments impacting the Group's financial reportingGeneral Ledger Accounting, AP and AR. Oversee the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close process in close collaboration with the Controlling function. Oversee the timely reconciliation of all Balance Sheet accounts. Support the Controlling team in the annual Audit process. Review and enhance the efficiency of the financial processes and workflows impacting the timely and accurate reporting of financial information across all Financial Systems (including ERP systems processes and workflows). Oversee the follow-up of action items from Internal Audit reviews. Running the AP and AR functions. Oversee the systems finance (Oracle/ Hyperion) aspects.FP&A. Oversee the FP&A and group mgt reporting teamIDEAL PROFILE: . A CPA / CA with a tertiary degree in Accounting/Accountancy/Finance. The candidate is expected to have around 15 to 20 years of finance/accounting post graduate work experience.. Hands-on exposure to financial reporting at the group /HQ level, reporting standards and consolidation is required. Prior experience supporting post- integration/M&A activities is required. Has experience managing bigger teams of more than 15 staff.. Extensive external audit exposure will be useful. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to business partner global business leaders. Excellent leadership and coaching skills.. Strong on system and process improvement.
