We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a VP, Marketing Performance and Planning.

Principal Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this role is to focus on Marketing Operation Management including marketing financial reporting, performance analysis & strategic planning; as well as marketing process transformation and risk governance within the department CIM (Customer, International & Marketing).

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for managing marketing budget and financial reporting in order to meet business process requirements and WPB business objectives
  • Formulate a clear and consistent framework and process to improve return on marketing investment, achieve process efficiency and cost effectiveness
  • Provide an aggregate view of business activities across WPB with regular marketing calendar/runway update to senior management
  • Manage processes and activities related to overall Marketing Operation \xe2\x80\x93 including team administration, training management and fulfilling audit requirements for the Marketing team
  • Drive market level budget management and business planning
  • Act as the local market champion for all process, performance, budget, and governance activities/duties
  • Lead marketing transformation, process improvement and governance activities at market level
  • Undertaking analysis of campaign performances to provide insights in order to identify opportunities to improve key income drivers and sustain business growth
  • Implement overall marketing performance tracking and enablement tasks at market level inclusive of business analytics and Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI) tracking
  • Ensure a close collaboration with global teams and country business lines teams to ensure that marketing programmes are aligned to local and global priorities
  • Be the one-point contact for global teams to support implementation of the marketing strategy
  • Leverage relationships with Finance, Business & Analytics to drive better outcome for local marketing investment
Requirements
  • Degree Holder in Marketing/Business and/or Finance related discipline preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience and preferably in financial services covering media planning, marketing, product management and/or operations is preferred
  • Strong understanding of accounting, business finance and budget accrual processes within corporations / Financial industry
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Proven ability to be a self-starter with energy and drive in a challenging and dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills to engage multiple stakeholders
  • Be a team player yet able to work independently and lead on projects
  • Able to influence, manage and build relationships with multiple stakeholders with the proposed Marketing strategy and plan
  • Creative & innovative with alternate options on delivering an effective Marketing plan
  • Have a performance driven attitude and mindset
  • Be energetic, versatile and be constantly ready to accept to perform duties beyond stated scope
