Your Role
As VP Engineering you will manage, grow and inspire our talented tech team based in Singapore and Australia. If building teams, building things from scratch, working on APIs, dealing with microservices, and javascript languages make you smile, wait no more and join us in our fast paced journey!

Your Responsibilities

• Work closely with the product team and founders to build our roadmap
• Help launch new markets (South Korea, US, & more to come) and products (Marketplace features, Seller Tools, API management, Fintech services, Pricing Algorithm)
• Be a strong contributor / initiator of innovations within the company, working closely with various stakeholders within the company to ensure engineering objectives are in line with the business strategy
• Build an architecture for scale & manage technical debt
• Grow the engineering team as we continue our fast expansion, actively engaging in hiring activities and building a team structure for scale
• Manage and retain your growing team. Establish and monitor your team’s OKRs
• Maintain a high level of quality and performance in a fast paced, e-commerce environment

Your Background

• 5+ years leading engineering teams
• 7+ years of software development experience
• Proficient knowledge in AWS services (lambda, SQS, SNS, S3, ...)
• Proficient knowledge in Typescript, NodeJs, React
• Proficient knowledge of microservices / microservices design patterns
• Significant experience in an e-commerce company
• Background + Degree in Computer Science
• Startup mindset, can do attitude
