Our financial solutions are not only the best in the business \xe2\x80\x93 they were made just right for you.ResponsibilitiesThe Discretionary Portfolio Management team is looking to add one portfolio manager to respond to the growing traction for fixed income mandates. The role is expected to implement fixed income strategy across client portfolios in line with mandates, risk and compliance guidelines.The role focuses on managing and implementing investment mandates, taking into consideration the client\xe2\x80\x99s objectives, restrictions, the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s investment strategy, risk and compliance guidelines. Discretionary portfolio managers oversee investment decisions and client portfolio performance in their area of coverage.

• Invest, manage and deliver risk adjusted returns for fixed income portfolios run by the DPM team, both for segregated mandates and funds
• Monitor investment universe to identify high conviction investment ideas, primarily the selection of single line bonds in collaboration with the Fixed Income Research team
• Collaborate with the Chief Investment Office to influence and shape investment strategy, followed by implementation in portfolios.
• Ensure proper planning and timely execution of the trades, and that portfolios are constructed and implemented in alignment with investment objectives and risk parameters
• Work and communicate with relationship managers to update clients on their mandates.
• Create sustainable relationships with our customers through portfolio reviews.
• Prepare market commentary and portfolio positioning updates in fund/mandate factsheets, as well as materials for investment meetings.
• Participate in any related investment project by the business.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in fixed income, with portfolio management experience in an asset management firm or a private bank preferred. Fixed income analysts aspiring to transition to portfolio management roles, with strong communication skills, will also be considered
• Expertise in fixed income analysis is required, either in Asian or DM credit markets
• Solid understanding of financial markets, interest rates, corporate credit, and fixed income analysis. CFA is an advantage
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including proficiency in financial modelling and fixed income relative value analysis
• Familiarity with Bloomberg, Excel is a must. Data analysis and programming skills are an advantage.
• Good understanding of Wealth Management
• Strong organisational skills and outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a team player attitude.
