Job Description

They are looking for a VP to join their Finance team, with responsibility for ensuring a robust controls environment within their Credit Trading business, working across both Product Control and Financial Control, and partnering closely with Front Office / Business stakeholders.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Review and oversight of the daily P&L ensuring it is properly explained and substantiated.
• Ensure that key controls are properly and fully implemented.
• Reconcile the consolidated daily P&L with the Management Reporting system, investigating and resolving any issues.
• Be a key contact point for the Front Office, partnering closely with relevant Desk Heads
• Produce monthly and quarterly commentary at a business and / or entity level
• Work closely with Traders, Market Risk Management, Middle Office and Accounting Policy to resolve Risk, P&L and accounting issues.
• Monthly review of reserves.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

• Minimum of 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in an investment bank, working in either a Product Control or Financial Control position, with Credit Trading product knowledge (specifically Bonds, Loans, CDS)
• Strong knowledge of product control concepts including reconciliation and consolidation of daily P&L with management reporting system, and ability to investigate and resolve issues
• Experience facing off to the Front Office and other relevant stakeholders including auditors and regulators
