Responsibilities:

(1) Program manager for API initiatives.

  • Work closely with countries and product teams to ensure all initiatives follow the governance defined.
  • In case of any blockers, work with the relevant stakeholders for escalation and resolution.
  • Ensure proper closure of initiatives, and API documentation as an outcome to facilitate reusability.
(2) Manage central book of work for API development.
  • Work with countries, products, and ecosystem platform closely to identify the asks and priority.
  • Work with platform teams to come up with the delivery roadmap.
  • Address and resolve any challenges along the delivery of the roadmap.
  • Run platform governance meetings to keep all parties aligned on the roadmap.
(3) As part of driving reusability of APIs.
  • Setup process to ensure all APIs developed are well documented and made centrally available.
  • Drive the setup of Sandbox regionally. Ensure all new APIs are onboarded with detailed specs and test scenarios.
(4) Setup monitoring of API data usage. Drive insights and benefit tracking at API level.

(5) Asset with other enablers needed for API strategy.
  • Documentation of use cases/playbooks.
  • Remove common pain points, by liaising with country/regional stakeholders and standardizing the process.
(6) Drive and contribute to workshops with countries and products.
  • Knowledge sharing of APIs and use cases available.
Requirements:
  • Between 6 to 10 years in financial services/fintech/management consulting or related industries.
  • Basic understanding of digital toolsets such as API's, Cloud, Data Analytics.
  • Understanding of Consumer Banking products - Payments, Cards, Lending.
  • Experience in dealing with Fintech or eCommerce companies is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated success in client engagement and engaging internal partners for designing solutions, track record of delivering impactful business solutions.
  • Experience in working cross-functionally and across regions and functions to drive initiatives.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Highly adaptable, self-starter, ability to deal with ambiguity, thrives in fast-moving and high-growth environments, bias towards action.
  • Good problem-solving, planning, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's from a recognized University.
