About the Department

The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.

We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.

Job Responsibilities

Rolling out secured loans campaigns and activities to drive revenue growth, loan volumes and awareness for the bank\'s mortgage and car loan businesses to drive digital and in-branch take-up. Building on the bank\'s omnichannel strategy by enhancing the in-person experience / branch proposition for consumers. Curating and governing the showcase of marketing assets across the bank\'s wide branch network to increase the branch experience for customers as well as optimising the bank\'s owned assets and channels, to drive CVPs and product/solution awareness and take up.

Responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns, as well as communication materials to strengthen the consumer perception of the Bank as well as the Bank\'s secured loans business. The job holder will also support acquisition, retention, and portfolio growth initiatives to drive the business.

  • Lead the development and execution of secured loans (mortgage and auto loans) and branch marketing campaigns to ensure the successful rollout of marketing activities and events. This will also include driving full funnel marketing campaigns, leveraging on both ATL and BTL as well as digital.
  • Increase awareness for the branches/products/solutions through strategic media buy to drive awareness, acquisition and engagement.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across sales, segment and product teams in the bank to facilitate and execute campaigns to help drive client acquisition, deepen client engagement and promote portfolio quality and penetration.
  • Manage and support branch events, including sourcing of partners and gifting/premiums when required.
  • Negotiate and work effectively with creative and media agencies as well as other external vendors to ensure quality execution of client programmes and campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance marketing indicators, track and optimise media campaigns as well as deliver a robust and adaptable marketing calendar. Also able to manage and maximise budgets to achieve agreed yearly business priorities.
  • Understand the needs of customers, industry trends, and the strategy and tactics of competitors; target key opportunities and communicate core value propositions to establish differentiating plus sustainable advantage and rolling out integrated marketing activities to deliver these to clients.
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or Economics.
  • At least 8-10 years of Marketing and/or Communications experience in a financial institution (FI), Wealth industry or direct to consumer business model environment e.g. in FMCG, online marketplaces.
  • Demonstrate creativity and the ability to express opinions on creative work, with a good sense of consumer trends and insights.
  • Ability to apply a customer centric mindset in the implementation of marketing campaigns.
  • Good project management skills - able to prioritise and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Demonstrate competency in integrated marketing communications, including digital and social media marketing.
  • Strong communicator (written and spoken) who is personable and collaborative
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team, with good stakeholder management ability
