Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

Work with business stakeholders in defining PayLah! app strategy and roadmap. Bring product thinking into all business requirements across countries. Interface with business, UXD, PO and technology teams to drive towards common requirements

Develop strong relationships with key business stakeholders / sponsors and make technology risk concerns visible and transparent to them.

Lead cross functional development teams, including product owner, scrum master, tech lead, developers, testers, DevOp, SRE and etc. in Agile delivery methodology

Work with the platform architect and engineering leads to design and implement software solutions iteratively through multiple releases in a product roadmap.

Collaborate with project team members, stakeholders and sponsors to clearly understand and define program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss challenges that impact program delivery timelines.

Work with partnering teams in the organisation, translate their constraints and priorities into program delivery dependencies, and organize any conversations required to prioritize deliverables with minimal assistance.

Contribute to decisions on prioritizing goals and deliverables, together with Product Owners and the project team.

Develop, execute, and manage various project plans and steering committee updates for the overall program.

Review key metrics pertaining to the program, monitor for potential deviations, and drive corrective actions in a timely manner.

Conduct data-driven analysis to make recommendations to business in areas such as cost-benefit, forecasting and personnel resourcing.

Ensure the quality delivery of software application enhancements and initiatives

Provide leadership in re-defining our development team processes, as well as recommending technologies fit for modern, salable architectures to deliver business outcomes and customer value

Drive adoption of the common framework and champion the cause of reuse across various technology teams

Contribute materially to a well-informed cloud strategy and manage our Cloud Adoption Model

Explore new technologies and drive innovation through experimentation

Build competency center and subject matter expertise that business and tech stakeholders can depend on

Instrument the pipelines to ensure process is followed and present metrics to senior management stakeholders

Supporting established organizational objectives by developing goals and strategies

Requirements

Must have technical background with bachelor's in computer science or equivalent fields.

15+ years of total experience, minimum of 5+ years of Tech Lead experience in all aspects of digital channel service technology, minimum of 5+ years of relevant program/project management experience in the Finance domain.

Working knowledge of the general Mobile App development landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.

Good understanding of Finance functions, operating model and best practices.

Experience in handling large, complex projects and programs involving multiple teams.

Experience driving programs in an enterprise environment using the Agile approach, with demonstrable ability to lead others while navigating ambiguous situations requiring complex decision making.

Strong leadership capabilities to lead multi-disciplinary teams across multiple geographic locations.

Must be an excellent communicator, highly organized and can manage competing priorities. Ability to work under high pressure and in ambiguity.Comfortable working independently as well as in a team.

Working experience in IT and software development on open source software stack, with a good track record in a leadership role with a culture of collaboration and teamwork

Experience guiding and executing cross-functional initiatives to completion, while remaining hands-on

Strong Problem-Solving skills and ability to solve unstructured problem and challenge status quo

Must be comfortable working in an extremely fast paced environment, with an ability to prioritize accordingly to meet deadlines

Full-stack development background especially in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, ReactJS frameworks, IOS Swift, Android Java, Java Spring Boot framework, JBoss/Tomcat, and MariaDB is preferred.
