This role will significantly impact the protection of DBS customers from fraud and scams. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding the latest fraud trends and developing preventive measures to reduce fraud and scam losses for our customers and DBS.Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze fraud cases to identify and prevent future fraud, partnering with multiple departments.
  • Identify areas requiring enhanced security procedures or digital capabilities to protect customer accounts. Develop preventive measures to reduce fraud and scam losses for our customers and DBS.
  • Oversee security and risk governance for regional digital channels and services. Define security requirements with the cybersecurity team, maintain and review the risk matrix, and support audits and MAS reviews related to security and risk controls.
  • Lead key security-related projects, defining requirements and improving the customer digital journey. Ensure all digital channels across all markets implement best-in-class security measures, working with country stakeholders to balance security with a frictionless customer experience.
  • Engage senior management, technology and operations, and product teams, and support the security and fraud forum. This role offers ample opportunity to network with colleagues across the Bank, both within and outside CBG. Collaborate with and learn from cross-functional business partners (including Customer Experience, Marketing, IT, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and others) to develop holistic, end-to-end digital solutions that meet customer and business needs.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7-8 years of experience in a related position.
  • Experience in digital channel management, gathering business requirements, and managing channel projects and initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of digital trends and technological proficiency.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical abilities.
  • Keen interest in emerging digital trends and their application to improve the digital customer experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems using data and customer feedback.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to independently develop and implement ideas.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and supervision.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills; creative and critical thinking abilities.
