Business FunctionCorporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. • Proactively strategise and lead the growth of a portfolio of corporate clients in the Food & Agribusiness Industry, in particular corporate clients headquartered or operating in Greater China region. For clients in core markets outside of Singapore, relationship to be jointly managed with the various geography coverage teams.
• Create and execute account plans for identified clients in the assigned portfolio to increase share of wallet by offering corporate banking products of the Bank, including capital markets (Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets and Strategic Advisory), transaction banking services (Cash and Trade) and treasury & markets, in close conjunction with product groups.
• Engage clients at a senior management level for offerings in key focus areas such as ESG linked financing, value chain financing and digitisation.
• Structure and handle trade financing solutions tailored to specific needs of agribusiness clients.
• Prepare credit applications (quantitative and qualitative client analysis), credit renewal and undertake periodic review of assigned portfolio
• Monitor and manage accounts actively, being alert to credit deterioration or improvement, and taking timely action including elevation to senior management and credit
• Negotiate loan & security documentation with good degree of competence, and complete in timely manner.
• Assist in industry related research and strategy exercises such as development of new growth areas, country strategies and industry benchmarking.

Requirements

• Degree holder in related discipline with at least 10 years\' relevant experience in corporate and investment banking, and minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in covering corporate clients headquartered in Greater China region. CFA degree holders preferred.
• Strong presentation skills, and ability to lead external and internal discussions.
• Strong credit and financial analytical skills with the ability to independently prepare and present financial models, cashflow analysis, debt capacity analysis for complex lending structures
• Demonstrate good knowledge of corporate bank products. Strong knowledge of trade finance will be an advantage.
• Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and willingness to collaborate across multiple teams.
