Job Description
Description :
Ensures the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse materials, goods and products to feed business operations and customer demand.
- Handle Picking & Packing and Loading & Unloading duties
- Take delivery of inventory
- Check for damaged or missing items quarantining any items that fail the quality check for escalation and resolution
- Store goods appropriately as directed by either the WMS or direct supervisors
- Pick and pack orders for dispatch
- Move Inventory around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a forklift truck
- Load goods for dispatch
- Maintain the WMS system accurately for all inventory receipts, movements and dispatch
- Carry out Inventory / cycle counts as directed utilizing the WMS and paper directions
- Ensure that all lifting and maneuvering of cargo is executed in accordance with handling procedures
- Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others.
- Work experience in warehouse environment is an added advantage
- Effective team player
- Possess Forklift licence is an advantage
- Meticulous and organized.
