Warehouse Coordinator
Job Description
Ensures the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse materials, goods and products to feed business operations and customer demand.
Handle Picking & Packing and Loading & Unloading duties
Take delivery of inventory
Check for damaged or missing items quarantining any items that fail the quality check for escalation and resolution
Store goods appropriately as directed by either the WMS or direct supervisors
Pick and pack orders for dispatch
Move Inventory around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a forklift truck
Load goods for dispatch
Maintain the WMS system accurately for all inventory receipts, movements and dispatch
Carry out Inventory / cycle counts as directed utilizing the WMS and paper directions
Ensure that all lifting and maneuvering of cargo is executed in accordance with handling procedures
Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others.
Requirements
Work experience in warehouse environment is an added advantage Effective team player Possess Forklift licence is an advantage * Meticulous and organized.
