Adecco is partnering with a Global Leader in Manufacturing of Painting and Coating to find a Warehouse Manager in the Chemical Industry with leadership and EHS experience. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team while overseeing distribution, 3PL operations and implementing operational policies.The OpportunityAdecco is partnering with a MNC Global Leading Paint Manufacturer, and we are looking for a experienced Warehouse Manager in the Chemical Industry to join their business! Reporting to the Plant Manager, overseeing 10 employees to manage all aspects of warehousing, including receiving, distribution, and third-party logistics.

• Permanent, Full-time opportunity
• Location: West region, near Tuas Crescent (Transport provided at Chinese Garden, Lakeside, Tuas Crescent)
• Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 6pm
• Salary Package: Basic + AWS + VB

The Job

• Supervise receiving, warehousing, distribution, and third-party logistics (3PL) operations.
• Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures, while overseeing security operations.
• Managing a team of 13 operation people including 4 warehouse supervisors.
• Collaborate with the EHS Officer to enforce safety standards and procedures, promoting a safe work environment.
• Enhance staff performance through coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions, while ensuring the safety of all employees.
• Ensure inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and leading stock-taking activities.
• Oversee local deliveries to guarantee that products are shipped promptly and efficiently.
• Investigate delivery errors and complaints, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Manage daily waste disposal, including general and hazardous waste, and ensure proper documentation and compliance.

The Talent

• Min Diploma holder.
• At least 5 year(s) of warehouse management experience is required for this position.
• Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
• Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Materials and inventory management and Oracle system.
