Adecco is partnering with a Global Leader in Manufacturing of Painting and Coating to find a Warehouse Manager in the Chemical Industry with leadership and EHS experience. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team while overseeing distribution, 3PL operations and implementing operational policies.The OpportunityAdecco is partnering with a MNC Global Leading Paint Manufacturer, and we are looking for a experienced Warehouse Manager in the Chemical Industry to join their business!Reporting to the Plant Manager, with good proficiency in excel (vlookup, pivot table) for reporting purposes and overseeing 10 employees to manage all aspects of warehousing, including receiving, distribution, and third-party logistics. Someone who has experience dealing with chemical product and taking charge of liquid inventory control (ml measurement).

• Location: West region, near Tuas Crescent (Transport provided at Chinese Garden, Lakeside, Tuas Crescent)
• Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm
• Salary Package: Basic + AWS + VB

The Job

• Supervise receiving, warehousing, distribution, and third-party logistics (3PL) operations.
• Managing a team of 10 operation people including 1 warehouse supervisors.
• Collaborate with the EHS Officer to enforce safety standards and procedures, promoting a safe work environment.
• Enhance staff performance through coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions, while ensuring the safety of all employees.
• Ensure inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and leading stock-taking activities.
• Oversee local deliveries to guarantee that products are shipped promptly and efficiently.
• Investigate delivery errors and complaints, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Manage daily waste disposal, including general and hazardous waste, and ensure proper documentation and compliance.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports using Excel and the system

The Talent

• At least 3 year(s) of warehouse management experience is required for this position.
• Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
• Experience in Inventory Control for Bulk Liquid storage.
• Comfortable using Excel
