Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:-

The warehouse supervisor has to supervise all the work that goes on in the warehouse. He has to coordinate with the Warehouse Manager on the delivery/receiving date and make arrangements for the goods to be stored away. He has to train workers in the work procedures and monitor the workers carry out the work correctly. He has to ensure that safety & security measures for the warehouse is at the highest standard. Interpreting company policies to workers and enforcing safety regulations. Ensure all Storekeepers follow Work Safe Practices. Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse. To ensure all Reach trucks & equipment are in good working condition. Able to coordinate daily work activities & prepare all customers' orders for deliveries. Organize and maintain Goods Inventory records and maximize storage areas. Plan & Organize to deploy Storekeepers in their daily work assignments effectively. Monitor & supervise daily work activities. Ensure all Storekeepers follow strictly to working hours & break-time. They have to arrange for the goods to be unloaded and safely stored away in the correct Cold-room location. Recommend & implement measures to improve quality of service. Increase efficiency & good communication between inter-departments. Continuously improve warehouse operations through correct work and safe practices. Maintain good recording keeping for work activities & equipment. * To perform any other ad-hoc duties as & when required by Superior.
