We have an exciting opportunity for a Water Resources Engineer to join our Water Group and be part of the growth and delivery of wide range of water resources projects . The role will primarily be responsible in: The Civil Engineer has a project role and this includes but is not limited to the following:

• Assist the Senior Team Leader and/or Job Manager through carrying out professional service tasks of appropriate scope and complexity.
• Assist in the completion of projects to a technical standard acceptable within the industry.
• Assist in conducting studies and timely delivery of projects.
• Work with other staff to get the job done and gain mutual satisfaction.
• Assist other GHD offices on water/wastewater related projects, as needed

We are looking for the following qualifications, skills, and attributes:

• BS in Civil or Sanitary Engineering
• MS in Civil, Sanitary, or Environmental Engineering is a plus
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in water resources preferably in a consulting setting.
• Knowledgeable with GIS applications (ArcGIS, QGIS, Mapinfo)
• Knowledgeable in hydrologic modelling software (e.g HEC-HMS, RORB, Storminjector)
• Knowledgeable in hydraulic and flood modelling software (e.q. HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, Infoworks, MIKE)
• Good technical writing skills with experience in writing flood study report and proposals
• Familiarity with data analysis using Python or Macros in Excel (preferred)
