QA function maintains a strong and consistent review approach and performs periodical testing and targeted reviews. The team works closely with Business as first line of defense to ensure compliance and integrity in the selling practice processes.

Job Responsibilities

• Works in the APAC QA team (1st Line of Defense) and executes the Quality Assurance tests against established criteria
• Develops subject matter expertise on investment products and the related regulatory requirements as well as the ability to draw inferences, identify root cause, and make recommendations for corrective action
• Interact with Business to provide QA results, analyzes disputes, conduct reassessments and perform escalations. Individual is required to demonstrates fortitude against potential adversity
• Participate in discussions with business partners on risk issues (e.g., Compliance, Controls, Internal Audit)
• Monitors the control and operational environment for changes which may impact QA testing
• Recommends and implements enhancements to improve effectiveness and efficiency of services and systems
• Participate in ad hoc projects or targeted reviews
• Ensures testing job aids are kept current and are beneficial tools for others

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Bachelor\'s degree in business, finance, or related field
• Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in oversight functions such as audit, QA, risk & control or related functions in Banks, Big 4 or other Financial institutions
• Fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin is required in order to evaluate interactions and/or transactions and provide verbal and/or written summaries of findings with Chinese speaking clients
• Experience in Private Bank or Wealth Management is preferred

• Ability to quickly absorb industry knowledge, business processes, policies and regulatory requirements
• Flexible and able to work in fast-paced environment to meet aggressive deadlines while priorities are shifting
• Risk and control management knowledge
• High degree of professionalism, self-motivation and sense of urgency
• Strong Microsoft Office and Data Analytics knowledge is preferred
