This role is responsible for the administration and monitoring of PB Asia credit facilities in line with corporate credit policy, review & monitoring of credit covenants, transaction approval and othe This role is responsible for the administration and monitoring of PB Asia credit facilities in line with corporate credit policy, review & monitoring of credit covenants, transaction approval and other special monitoring requirements. The Credit Platform Services is part of the Private Bank Credit Operations group. This team monitors JPM Private Bank exposures (including loans, mortgages & derivatives) secured by financial assets, such as equities, fixed income products and other asset types. The functions performed by this team are critical to protecting the bank from potential credit losses. Specific Duties Work as part of Private Bank Credit Platform Services Collateral team. The candidate will perform, among others, the following tasks: . Ongoing monitoring and review of the loan portfolio as per the Credit guidelines . Manage daily shortfalls and collateral maintenance . Follow up with Bankers / Investors / Credit Risk on resolution to be taken to regularize excesses (shortfalls) . Ensure that loan processing are compliant to internal credit threshold . Close collaboration with Credit Underwriting team, Credit Executives on exception handling for credit facilities extended to Asia Private Banking clients . Act as the escalation point and troubleshoot issues . Ensure compliance with regulations, credit policies and guidelines . Interpret and apply basic legal credit documentation . Input and maintain credit limits and other credit parameters such as cross pledges, pricing, mortgages etc. in the system Extended Responsibilities . Participate in implementation of new technology via UAT testing and parallel testing . Consolidate and priorities pain points on collateral day-to-day with escalation to project team Requirements . Bachelor's degree or equivalent . 1 or more years of experience working in Financial Industry, experience in Private Bank credit middle office or control function is preferred . Strong verbal and written communication skills . Proficient in core business tools and applications such as Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Alteryx / Python/ Tableau / Power BI an advantage . Confident and outgoing personality, proven ability to establish effective working relationships with senior stakeholders . A strong team player, can maintain a positive attitude and deliver results in a fast paced, dynamic team environment . Detail oriented, possess initiative, strong solution based problem solving and analytical skills, able to add value rather than just accept the status quo .
