Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design and place elements on a web page, which can include logos and images as well as textual elements.
- Create a mockup or wireframe using image editing software and work with developers and programmers to transform wireframe into a functional website
- Resize and crop images, correct colors, and ensure that images are correctly formatted and optimized for mobile and desktop web browsers.
- Create images from scratch and save them as vector images that can be repurposed throughout the site.
- Work closely with developers to ensure that front-end and back-end elements work together as expected.
Requirements:
- Atleast 1 year experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in the following: Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver), and Web Development (PHP. HTML. CSS, Javascript)
- Excellent composition skills to determine where to locate page elements and balance the overall look and flow of the page
- Familiarity with typographical principles and practices.
- Image editing skills to frequently make changes to a page\xe2\x80\x99s images that range from cropping and resizing to optimizing images for desktop or mobile browsers
- Experience in Web coding to manipulate a page\xe2\x80\x99s code to change how the page looks and behaves.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with design and development teams and other departments as needed.
