Role Overview

You will assist our creative team in producing wedding related content. Both for some simple client deliverables and mainly Depair's social media. Expect a hands on creative role where you get to learn and apply real skills that make an impact.

Key Responsibilities.

Wedding Delivery & Production

Assist in

basic editing of wedding videos

-- e.g., trimming clips, arranging sequences, syncing audio, simple color adjustments, preparing drafts for senior editors Support remote preparation for wedding shoots (shot list help, research, reference moodboards, BTS planning) Organize and label wedding footage, assets & media folders You will be taught how to do these step by step with a formula to follow.
Social Media Content

Help create

short-form content

(Reels/TikTok/YouTube Shorts) from wedding footage or BTS moments Assist with posting, caption ideas, and content calendar planning Brainstorm campaign ideas to help Depair grow on IG, TikTok, YouTube
Creative Collaboration

Participate in creative discussions. Your ideas are welcome and valued Speak up confidently. We want interns who tell us what they think in their perspective. Work closely with founders & editors to improve and grow your creative skills
Requirements

Able to speak and understand

English and Chinese

(important for communicating with couples, families, vendors & multicultural shoots)

Passion

for videography, photography & storytelling (portfolio not required -- passion matters more) Basic editing knowledge and willingness to learn fast Comfortable working from home, self-disciplined & able to manage tasks independently Outspoken, proactive, not afraid to voice ideas or ask questions A growth mindset, open to feedback, improvement, and hands on learning
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

Not required -- but will give you more opportunities

Ability to color grade or audio mix Experience shooting handheld / gimbal / BTS footage TikTok/Reels editing knowledge Familiarity with Lightroom presets & storytelling flow

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $800.00 - $1,200.00 per month

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
