Job Description

Welder (Fabrication / Site)

Main Purpose:

To carry out welding and fabrication works according to technical drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform TIG, MIG, ARC, or gas welding on steel, aluminium, or stainless steel. Interpret and follow fabrication drawings and welding symbols accurately. Measure, cut, and assemble components according to project requirements. Conduct finishing, grinding, and surface preparation after welding. Inspect and ensure weld quality meets standards (visual and dimensional checks). Maintain welding tools, equipment, and consumables. Adhere to all safety procedures, PPE usage, and housekeeping standards. Support onsite installation and rectification works as required.

Requirements:

Able to read fabrication drawings. * Experience in construction or metalworks fabrication environment.
