Level 1 is first level proactive & Reactive Support for servers. . Basic trouble shooting activities which are documented In SOP's . Monitoring System resources (CPU, Disk, Memory etc) . Alert monitoring using tools . Monitoring cluster failovers . Day to Day System & Storage Administration Services . Delivering ITIL based processes like Incident, Request management etc. . Server deployment and configuration etc., . First leve1 Hardware / Software trouble shooting . Hardware / Software / Tools deployment . Patch management and process . Vendor coordination / Site access coordination Skills Required . Experience of Windows 2003/2008/2012 Servers, Active Directory , Hyper-V . Knowledge on server management tools . knowledge on various RAID technologies (RAID 0+1, RAID 1, RAID 5 etc.) . Knowledge and/or hands on working experience with Altiris and Active Directory is advantageous. . Excellent Verbal and written communication skills. . Good interpersonal Skills. . The candidate need to work in a SLA driven environment. . Ability to work in a flexible, team-oriented and constantly changing environment . ITIL process awareness . Experience in ticketing tools like Service NOW, HPSC or Remedy would be added advantage
