Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Windows Engineer to join a dynamic IT team. As a Windows Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and maintaining Windows-based systems across the organization, with a special focus on regional operations initiatives. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, security, and optimal performance of the Windows infrastructure in the designated region.
Key Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a Windows Engineer, with a strong understanding of Windows Server and Desktop operating systems (Windows 10 and above).
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft Exchange administration.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation and task scheduling.
• Experience with virtualization technologies like Hyper-V or VMware.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team and with regional stakeholders.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with a keen eye for detail.

Description

• Collaborate with regional stakeholders to understand their specific operational needs and requirements related to Windows-based systems.
• Design, deploy, and manage Windows-based servers and workstations tailored to meet the unique demands of regional operations.
• Provide L2 support for Windows-based servers, workstations, and applications, handling escalated technical issues from the L1 support team in the designated region.
• Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and patches to keep the Windows environment up-to-date and secure, adhering to regional compliance standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Windows operating systems, applications, and hardware components in the designated region.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new solutions, upgrades, and system integrations, ensuring seamless integration with regional business processes.
• Monitor system performance in the designated region and proactively identify potential bottlenecks, ensuring high availability and scalability to support regional operations.
• Implement and enforce security best practices specific to the region, safeguarding against cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
• Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines, ensuring alignment with regional requirements.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users in the designated region, helping them resolve Windows-related incidents and inquiries promptly.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing, ensuring regional business continuity in case of emergencies.
• Evaluate new technologies and tools relevant to the region to enhance the Windows infrastructure and optimize workflows.
