Job Duties

Support the development and testing of cutting-edge downhole intervention tools, including the

Linear Mechanical System (LMS)

and a

Downhole Tractor.

The LMS is a mechanical tool used to shift the Fluid Loss Isolation Barrier Valve in well completions. Designed for high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) environments, it delivers high mechanical force in tight wellbore geometries--doubling the load capacity of current market-leading systems.

Downhole Tractor

is a high-torque conveyance tool that operates inside the inner casing of oil and gas wells. These tools are essential for deploying equipment in horizontal or highly deviated wells where gravity-based descent is not possible. Both tools require robust mechanical design, thermal management, and precise control in extreme conditions.


Work alongside experienced engineers on real-world product development, contributing to the design, simulation, and testing of these high-performance tools.



Key Responsibilities:

Assist in test fixture design and testing for LMS and tractor systems Support heat pipe design and thermal simulations Perform mechanical analysis, modelling, and calculations Analyse test data and contribute to failure investigations Document test plans, procedures, and reports


What You'll Gain:
