Workday Consultant / Workday Functional / Technical Specialist (HCM / Time & Absence / Payroll / Integrations)

Location : Singapore

Role Overview

We are seeking a capable Workday Consultant (functional / technical / techno-functional) to support implementation, configuration, optimization, and maintenance of our Workday platform. The role will work with HR, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into Workday solutions, handle integrations, drive adoption, ensure data integrity, and maintain system enhancements. This could be within a consulting service provider or in-house HR/HRIS team.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in all phases of the Workday project lifecycle: requirement gathering, design, configuration, testing (unit, integration, UAT), deployment, post-go-live support. Modules may include Core HCM, Time & Absence, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Talent & Performance, Learning, etc. Rolling Arrays Careers+3Syssero+3Manpower+3 Design and build integrations between Workday and other systems (for example payroll, finance, downstream HR systems). Use tools such as EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Core Connectors, Workday Studio, etc. HCLTech+2Manpower+2 Data migration / conversion from legacy systems: mapping, cleansing, validation, load into Workday, ensure data integrity and reconciliation. Rolling Arrays Careers+2Syssero+2 Develop reports, dashboards, calculated fields, and metrics in Workday to support management insights and compliance. Kablio+2Rolling Arrays Careers+2 Manage security roles and permissions, business process configurations, approvals, validation rules. Syssero+2Rolling Arrays Careers+2 Lead or support UAT, system testing, regression testing, defect resolution. Syssero+2Teal+2 Drive system enhancements, configuration improvements and ensure best practices are followed. Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT / Computer Science / Human Resources / Business or equivalent experience. 3-5 years (or more depending on seniority) of hands-on Workday implementation or support experience, particularly in one or more modules like Core HCM, Time & Absence, Payroll, Benefits, etc. Rolling Arrays Careers+2Manpower+2 Strong functional knowledge of Workday configuration, business processes, data model, business objects. Experience with integrations: inbound/outbound connectors, API, EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio. HCLTech+2Kablio+2 Good skills in data migration / conversion: data mapping, cleansing, validation. Solid understanding of testing methodologies: UAT, system, regression, etc. Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, attention to detail. Strong communication skills: ability to liaise between business / HR / leadership / technical teams. Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects concurrently. Knowledge of HR domain / best practices in absence / time tracking / payroll (depending on module focus).
Preferred / Nice-to-Have

Workday certification(s) in relevant modules. Prior experience with Singapore local HR / payroll regulations, statutory requirements. Exposure to global deployments or cross-country roll-outs. Experience with reporting & analytics (Workday Reporting, dashboards). Experience working in Fast-paced / Agile environment. Strong stakeholder management skills.

Pay: $5,947.27 - $15,649.09 per month
