Duties of WSH Coordinator

Report to WSH Manager; Assist the WSH Manager in achieving the objectives of the Safety and Health Management System and enforcing at the worksites. Assist the occupier of the worksite to identify any unsafe condition in the worksite or unsafe work practice which is carried out in the worksite; Conduct the WSH Inspection and recommend corrective measures to rectify any unsafe conditions of workplaces and unsafe practices; Recommend to the occupier of the worksite to implement such reasonably practicable measures to remedy the unsafe condition or unsafe work practice; and Investigate all accidents / dangerous occurrence and correct causes to prevent future Occurrence. Maintain the Site Safety records Conduct safety talks /toolbox meetings; Promote the safety awareness among sub-contractors and workers; Promote the safety conduct of work generally within the worksite; and Comply with the risk assessment and safe work procedures at all times. Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management. Promotes safe practices at the job site. Enforces safety guidelines. Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc. Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker's compensation claims Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management. * Carry out PTW Monitoring and review.
