Workplace Safety Health Officer ($3500 $5500/aws/vb)

Job Description
$5500 + AWS + VB + allowance
5 working days, Mon - Fri, normal office hours
Location: North
Responsibilities
- To be able to effectively assess risk impact of project activities and issue Safety Stand Down when deemed necessary.
- Dealing with authorities, staffs, client\'s representatives, public, neighbours and other interested parties on matters related to safety & health.
- Conduct regular inspection and see to it that person responsible for the NC recorded or raised by interested parties are informed to perform corrective actions with photos evidence of closure.
- Conduct accident / incident investigations and recommendations on corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of all corrective actions taken
- Ensure reporting of incident comply with legal requirement.
- Maintain proper inventory control
- Other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Project Manager
- Diploma / Degree in Environment/Health/Safety or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge in WSHE legislation and regulations (WSH act and Environment) is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
