Job Description

Responsibilities: 1. Oversee and lead the safety team in the implementation of Company's safety systems.2. Liaise and communicate well with site operations staffs, project managers, contractors and third parties on all safety and health issues.3. To work closely with the relevant authorities on safety and health matters4. Assist in accident reporting and investigations as well as toolbox meetings5. Inspect & rectify any unsafe practices and conditions at the worksite6. Assist in all areas of safety planning and incident prevention7. Conduct safety inspections regularly to ensure all site activities are carried out in accordance with MOM safety requirements.8. Proficient in facility monitoring and implementation of ISO45001:2018 safety guidelines9. To follow-up on necessary actions to ensure compliance with ISO45001:2018 standards10. To participate in establish, update, maintain, and implement the Safety and Health Management System11. To assist all safety promotional activities, safety audits, safety meetings and execution of safety programmes.12. Perform any other ad hoc duties as assignedRequirements: 1. Candidate must possess Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health and/or other relevant certificates2. Valid Workplace Safety and Health Officer registration with MOM3. Minimum 3 years of construction experience4. Other related qualification: Work-At-Height for Manager, registered ECMO with IES and registered ECO with NEA will be an added advantage.5. Possess knowledge and expertise on WSH Act(s) and its legislation6. Adapt at Occupational Risk Analysis7. Good leadership and organisation skills8.
