BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION
- WSH Officer reports to General Manager and matrix reporting to Quality Assurance Manager on HSE matters.
- WSH Officer is qualified and appointed as Fire Safety Manager and assumes the role of Chairman of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Committee.
- WSH Officer is also Company\'s SG Security Representative with relevant authorities.
- WSH Officer is responsible for the establishment, maintenance and improvement of HSE systems and ISO Standards.
- Manages and maintains Plant site & facilities such as buildings, pipeline & terminalling tankage assets.
- Manages and maintains equipment and utilities installations such as Air conditioning, hot oil system, compressors and forklift resource.
- Reviews and maintains site security systems & requirements such as 24x7 security system and security guards.
- Assists Operations Manager for related plant upgrading or expansion projects as required by the Company.
- WSH Officer coordinates with all departments and supervisors on maintenance work including contractors to ensure all plant maintenance work and/or projects are carried out safely with proper risk assessment and issuance of relevant permits
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum a degree in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in related Manufacturing.
- Fire Safety Manager Certificate
- Safety Officer Certificate by MOM.
- Leadership and supervisory skills.
- Able to communicate well.
- A resourceful person.
