Workplace Safety Health Officer (wsho) ($4500 $6000/aws/vb)

Job Description
$6K + AWS + VB + allowance
5 working days, Mon - Fri, normal office hours
Location: West
Responsibilities
- Enforcement of the implemented Safety Management System for the purpose of ensuring the safety and protecting the health of all staffs and workers in the workplace / projects overall
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments and follow-up actions to maintain high safety standard and compliance to Company\'s ISO & OSHAS policies
- Conduct monthly Safety Committee meetings and put up safety reports, including safety issues
- Conduct accident / incident investigations and recommendations on corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Provide the Safety and Health Committees with the tools, resources and support enabling them to function effectively
- Prepare and submit Site Environmental Control Programme of the construction site before work commences on the worksite
- Provide and conduct Safety training for all new employees and workers
- Manage safety violation and award programs
- Diploma / Degree in Environment/Health/Safety or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge in WSHE legislation and regulations (WSH act and Environment) is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
