About the Role
We are a leading
semiconductor company
seeking a dedicated and experienced
Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO)
to oversee safety and compliance. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring full compliance with statutory and corporate safety standards.
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with
WSH regulations
, codes of practice, and company safety policies
Conduct regular
site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits
Lead
incident investigations
and recommend corrective/preventive actions
Organize and conduct
safety briefings, training, and toolbox meetings
Liaise with
MOM and relevant authorities
on safety-related matters
Promote a strong
safety culture
among all site personnel and contractors
Requirements
MOM-registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO)
-- mandatory* Strong knowledge of local
WSH regulations and requirements
Prior experience working in
industrial, manufacturing, or semiconductor environments
preferred
Good communication and leadership skills
