Responsibilities

Perform rig, test and derig of engine in a test cell environment.

Interpret approved technical data, standard practice, customer\xe2\x80\x99s work scope specifications & engine work scope.

Perform engine receive in borescope inspection and engine pre delivery borescope inspection.

Carry out Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) on equipment.

Solve technical issues and problems as appropriate when encounter during daily activities.

Execute the level 3 operation procedures within the department.

Assist the Operations Leader/ Assistant Foremen/ Cell Leaders in their day-to-day operations to achieve production targets, corporate goals and discipline.

Carry out SAP transaction.

Perform cross-functional jobs within the department if required.

Comply and adhere to code of ethics as well as EH&S regulations, standards, requirements and procedures.

Actively support and participate in Continuous Improvement, Environment Health & Safety (EH&S) and Quality projects and initiatives.

Carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant engineering disciplines

2 years maintenance experience \xe2\x80\x93 preferably Part 145.

Relevant experience in aircraft engine test environment as a Certifying Staff releasing ARC.

Pass and complete relevant CAAS examination credits:

SAR-66 (A&C \xe2\x80\x93 certifying complete engine)

M02 & M08 OR CO2 \xe2\x80\x93 Physics & Basic Aerodynamics OR Physics and Aerodynamics

M06 & M07 OR TM1 \xe2\x80\x93 Material and Hardware & Maintenance Practices OR Aircraft Materials and Hardware, and Maintenance Practices (Mechanical)

M09 \xe2\x80\x93 Human Factor and Error Management

M10 OR CO1 \xe2\x80\x93 Airworthiness Administration OR Air Legislation

M15 \xe2\x80\x93 Gas Turbine Engine

OR

SAR-7 (A&C \xe2\x80\x93 certifying complete engine)

L11 OR L12 \xe2\x80\x93 Airworthiness Administration OR Air Legislation

H11 \xe2\x80\x93 Human Factor and Error Management

B11 \xe2\x80\x93 Maintenance Practices and Materials

B13 \xe2\x80\x93 Electrical and Instrument Systems

C14 \xe2\x80\x93 Turbine Engine Theory and Construction

C15 \xe2\x80\x93 Turbine Engine Systems

Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license acceptable to CAAS or equivalency may also apply.

Good analytical skills, able to grasp concepts, track and resolve issues quickly.

Experience in Continuous Improvement, Environment Health & Safety (EH&S) and Quality projects and initiatives.

Self-motivated to work independently with a positive attitude towards change management.

Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Commit to work on rotating shifts (Day & Night) and overtime on need basis.

Knowledge of SAP and Solumina will is a plus.

Maintenance experience in engine borescope inspection is a plus

Capable of bore blend with appropriate training certificate and experience is a plus.

Experience in PW4000 and PW1100 engine model and completed engine type course is a plus.
