Job Description

Oversee the inspection of motor vehicles to identify faulty components and facilitate the process of repairs Oversee the procurement of vehicle parts, automotive equipment, and various other items required in the workshop Assign and schedule work duties to motor vehicle service workers according to their skills Responsible for the day to day, safe and efficient running of the workshop. Responsible for budgets for the purchase of materials, fixings, and fastenings and machine tools to ensure smooth progression of projects through the workshop. Coordinating schedules, monitoring production output & lead time, maintaining other production standards and ensuring quality control. Identify and initiative procedures to improve operation methods, product quality and production deliveries, including product innovations and improvement. Monitor, analyze and arrange manpower overtime base on production plan. Responsible for safe work environment and safety procedure adherence. Possess strong analytical thinking skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently. Any other ad hoc duties assigned

Job Requirements

Candidates must possess at least a Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering(Mechanical) or equivalent Candidates with relevant experience will also be considered 2 years' working experience with construction equipment. Strong communicator with good problem solving and people management skills Experience in supervising a team of workshop mechanics Candidates with strong automotive knowledge for repair and servicing Independent, committed and responsible Preferably able to start work within short notice * Job holder without the above qualification but with relevant experience would be considered.
