Job Description

We are looking to hire for 3 month contract WHS coordinator, with option to convert to full-time employment. Primary worksite is at Tuas area (few minutes walk from Gul Circle MRT), but may be cross deployed in special circumstances.

Your duties shall cover but not restricted to the following:


Ensure work methods and procedures comply with all relevant WSH regulations, including but not limited to WSH (Construction) regulations Review activity-based Risk Assessment, MOS for respective site works Assist in implementing Permit to Work system and provide close site supervision for high risk activities (such as excavation, heavy lifting, working at height, scaffold erection, etc.) Conduct routine safety inspection and audits (as per ISO45001 requirements) Conduct in-house safety training and presentation (such as Mass Tool Box meetings) to brief workers on safe work practices Document and keep records of all safety documents submission (Toolbox meeting records, PTWs) Liaise with client safety department / personnel to obtain clearance for daily work on site Conduct incident investigation and present findings / recommendations to management

Requirements

WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health MOM accredited WAH course for Assessors / MOM accredited WAH course for Managers Good knowledge of relevant safety standards and site installation procedures. Familiarity in excavation and electrical installation work methods and sequence will be a strong advantage Good written and spoken English Must be able to use Microsoft Office (especially Word and Powerpoint
