As an Workplace Safety Health Officer (WSHO) cum Environmental Control Officer (ECO), you will be responsible for managing and implementing the project\'s EOHS Management System, ensuring compliance with all relevant WSH legal requirements, and liaising with authorities on EHS matters. The client ensures to incorporate sustainability, safety, and quality as part of their branding and service value.

• Manage, implement, and update the project EOHS Management System.
• Review, advise, and implement project method statements and risk assessments.
• Advise project management on EHS-related matters.
• Ensure project compliance with all applicable WSH legal and other requirements.
• Liaise with authorities on EHS matters, including MOM, NEA, PUB, LTA, etc.
• Establish, implement, and review the Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan.
• Identify and establish the WSH training plan for the project.
• Manage and conduct project WSH training, including site induction.
• Establish and organize WSH promotion and campaigns.
• Identify, establish, and enforce project EHS rules and regulations.
• Conduct regular WSH inspections and audits for compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare reports for all inspections and audits, including corrective and preventive actions.
• Review and assess the permit-to-work system.
• Conduct investigation and analysis of incidents according to established procedures.
• Measure and monitor project EHS performances, including preparing monthly safety reports.
• Establish and manage project WSH group meetings.
• Advocate and promote a strong WSH culture on-site.
• Lead and manage project WSH personnel.
• Perform any other duties stipulated by authorities.
• Carry out other duties assigned by the Project Manager or Management staff.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Specialist Diploma in WSH equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction industry
• Registered WSH Officer with MOM
• Registered ECO with NEA
• Occupational First Aid Course Competent.
