Are you passionate in empowering and developing youths?
We are looking for Youth Engagement and Development Interns to support in scaling the work of our Youth Corps Development Team (YCDT), operated by Care Corner Singapore.
YCDT aims to grow the youth volunteerism landscape through building youth volunteer management capability with community partners, curate more youth-friendly opportunities & support youths with necessary training.
This internship offers hands-on experience in volunteer recruitment, programme planning and execution, and youth development, with an opportunity to shape meaningful experiences for volunteers while gaining valuable insights into the social service industry.
Roles & Responsibilities
Volunteer Recruitment & Development
Assist in recruiting volunteers for our signature programmes
Ensuring smooth onboarding process of volunteers
Programme Planning & Execution
Collaborate with the team to plan, organize, and execute programmes including logistics preparation
Involve in evaluation of programmes by gathering feedback from volunteers
Volunteer Management System (VMS)
Hands-on experience with the organisation's VMS
Provide support in tracking volunteer activities, recording hours and managing communications.
Youth Volunteer Guidance
Provide ongoing support to youth volunteers pre/post programme
Facilitate learning sessions and help volunteers reflect on their experiences.
Administrative Support
Maintain volunteer databases, data entry, and other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications
A-level graduates and current Polytechnic students are welcome to apply.

are able to see through the planning, organising, implementation and evaluation of a project

This internship programme is under the Youth Corps Community Internship (YCCI) hence only open to candidates aged between 17 to 25 years. Successful candidates will be required to register under YCCI.
Learning Outcomes:
Acquire insights to the youth volunteer management landscape
Develop project management and stakeholder management competencies
Exposure to social service sector
Grow in confidence of managing & engaging youths
Duration & Working Hours:
6 months between August 2025 to March 2026
Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm; Willing to work on Saturdays, if required.
