About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic

ICT Trainer

to deliver engaging technology-based learning experiences to

Primary 1 to Primary 6 students

. The ideal candidate will inspire young minds by guiding them through essential digital skills, creative tools, and foundational coding concepts in a fun, interactive, and supportive environment.


This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the next generation of digital learners and help them become confident, responsible, and creative users of technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver interactive ICT lessons

tailored for primary-level students, covering:

New Media Literacies

: Curate, Connect, and Create digital content

Touch Typing Skills

using school-approved software

Digital Citizenship & Internet Safety

Online Research Skills

and understanding of

Copyright & Ethics

Student Learning Space (SLS)

- Singapore's national learning platform

Basic Photo Editing and Video Creation

Google Workspace for Education

: Docs, Sheets, Slides, Sites, and Classroom

Web-Based Collaboration Tools

: Padlet, Kahoot, Mentimeter, Moo-o, and more

Introduction to Coding & Programming

: Using Scratch, Scratch Jr., Scratch Up, and Microbit

Animation Creation

: Using tools like Powtoon
Conduct

ICT Baseline Assessments

to evaluate student readiness and progress. Support students in developing

21st-century competencies

, including collaboration, problem-solving, communication, and creativity. Collaborate with teachers and school leadership to enhance digital integration across the curriculum. Manage and support

ICT-related administrative tasks

as assigned by the School Leaders or Head of Department.

What We're Looking For:

Preferred

: At least

3 years of experience

training

primary school students

in ICT or digital literacy.

Educational Background

: A

Diploma or equivalent

in an

ICT-related field

.

Proficiency in

:

Google Workspace for Education

(Docs, Sheets, Slides, Sites, Classroom)

Coding platforms

such as

Scratch, Scratch Jr., Scratch Up, and Microbit

Video creation tools

like iMovie or similar

Animation software

such as

Powtoon

Strong

communication and classroom management skills

, with the ability to explain complex ideas in a simple, engaging way. Passion for education and working with children, with a learner-centered mindset. Ability to adapt lessons creatively and respond to diverse student needs.
