Programme Overview
As a graduate within Schroders, you will be given the opportunity to gain experience within different teams, learning new skills and designing innovative products and solutions. You will work on a range of initiatives which will allow you to broaden your expertise through your interaction in Schroders.
Together with your graduate peers, you will join an internal training programme which introduces you to various aspects of the Investment Management business and the technology that supports it.
After the completion of your initial training you will start your rotational programme as well as completing any relevant technical & business courses to advance your professional development.
By the end of the programme you would have gained a broad understanding of the different discipline within the Schroders Group Distribution division and will be encouraged to pursue a specialized career path as a Schroders employee.
Overview of role
Schroder is No.1 asset manager in Singapore SE Asia Intermediary Sales, as a commercial heart of Schroders, is responsible for business development and partnerships with our intermediary clients such as banks and insurance companies. Renowned for our industry-leading edge in terms of client collaboration, we place high priority in understanding clients' needs in order to provide effective investment solutions and excellent client service. To achieve this, the SE Asia Intermediary Sales Team works closely with Schroder's Investment Teams based in Singapore and major international financial markets (such as London, New York, Hong Kong) to bring the whole-of-Schroders to our clients.
As a Graduate Trainee in SE Asia Intermediary Sales Team, you will be an integral part of the team providing sales support for the team in the preparation of presentations for client meetings, source internal thought pieces and market updates/outlook to proactively engage clients, and organize investment seminars. You will undergo a comprehensive training program which introduces you to key aspects of the Investment Management business. You will also be trained in a range of investment and business functions such as investment product management, sales, product development and client service through extensive on-the-job trainings mentored by other senior members of the team. The practical and theoretical experience will prepare you for your role within SE Asia Intermediary Sales.
