The Business Development Team We are responsible for communicating Arabesque's work and products to interested parties. We originate opportunities and develop existing relationships with clients. To be effective, we must understand the dynamics of our offerings in depth and effectively convey this to interested parties. We look to think outside the box and create opportunities where others fail to see them. We count and depend on each other, and on every other colleague at Arabesque. Our objective is to spread the word of Arabesque's capabilities and to relentlessly serve our clients. The Role We are looking to hire an Associate to join our Singapore team and contribute to Arabesque's growth in the Asia Pacific region. As an Associate, you will be responsible and accountable for crucial aspects of the business, from product development to generating sales. In turn, you will gain a deep understanding of our firm, our philosophy and the dynamics of our products. You will also develop your communication skills and connect with a strong network of investors and investment professionals. The Business Development, Associate Graduate Programme will last 2-years and involve structured training as well as the opportunity to rotate within and across functions, including a 3-month secondment to the company's London-based headquarters. You will be expected to: study market dynamics in different jurisdictions, develop an understanding of fund and ESG regulation, maintain and develop marketing materials, contribute to thought leadership, work on client requests (performance analysis, DDQs, RFPs), identify new business opportunities, establish your own network of clients, contribute to content / product development. Requirements have a solid foundation in finance (past internship experience is highly desirable), have strong technical skills (Microsoft Office, SQL, Python), have excellent interpersonal skills, are a hard worker and eager to learn in an intellectual, collaborative environment, are well organised and have a strong attention to detail, are motivated and passionate about solving problems and building relationships, are performance oriented, take feedback constructively, take ownership of your work.
