2023 Trading Technology Python Engineer - Foreign Exchange and Interest Rate Trading- Graduate

Take on a new challenge and join Fixed Income & Currencies Front Office Technology team to work closely with our fast-moving trading desks. This is a rare opportunity to hone your skills in development, enhancement and support for a wide range of financial market products including Foreign Exchange, Interest Rate and Bond. As a Front Office Engineer, you will engage directly with business in all aspects such as trade booking, settlements, finance, risks management etc.

This is a front office role based in Singapore and supports our Fixed Income & Currencies business. You will look to gain real experiences and help us create success for clients, colleagues and communities. You can build your own future as you contribute to ours.

What you will do:

• Play a key role in the successful delivery of high-quality software solution for our expanding and fast-paced Fixed Income and Currencies business
• Gather requirements, analyse, develop, release and support Trade Booking and Risks systems
• Manage stakeholders as you will be partnering closely with traders, other business users as well as the wider technology teams
• Embrace Agile Software Development methodology (Scrum and Kanban) using full suite of Atlassian tools

You will be working with a wide range of technologies including:

• Amazon AWS Cloud Technologies
• Python
• SQL
• C++/Java

Requirements:

• You will be a recent graduate or students graduating in 2023 with a degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Sciences or any other relevant courses
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong desire to learn about Financial Market products
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-motivating and self-directing
