About the Team Operations and Experience Design Unit The Operations and Experience Design unit plays a pivotal role in overseeing and curating consistent end-to-end customer experiences for CPF members and employees. As a Service Designer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with this dynamic team and contribute to our efforts in helping business owners find innovative solutions, designing experiences that are more efficient and effective for both internal and external customers.

What you will be working on:

What you will be working on As a Service Designer Intern, your responsibilities will include: 1. Design, conduct and report on ethnographic research activities in an effort to uncover customers\' tacit and latent needs. 2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to map the journeys of customers and employees, identify gaps and opportunities and develop innovative ideas to improve customer and employee experience. 3. Communicate research insights, knowledge and idea thorough compelling narratives to inform key stakeholders of strategic direction. 4. Coordinate and conduct design review sessions with key stakeholders, gaining consensus and approval on prototypes. 5. Support the conduct of workshops, research and similar events as a facilitator, notetaker or in logistics and administrative planning. What you can expect During your internship with CPF Board, you can expect: * Learning Opportunities: Gain valuable hands-on experience and develop your skillset in user experience activities e.g. conducting research, mapping out user journey, facilitating workshop. * Mentorship: Receive guidance and mentorship from experienced service designers who are passionate about your development. * Exposure: You will be exposed to the inner workings of the public service sector and understand the critical role of user experience in a government agency.

What we are looking for:

What we are looking for We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria: * Available Full time (5 days/week) * Currently pursuing a Bachelor\'s in Industrial Design, Design and Artificial Intelligence, Innovation and Design or a related field. * Good understanding and experience in solving problems and discovering opportunities using design thinking or service design * Good understanding of different service design tools and frameworks * Fluent in multiple prototyping tools * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team. * Resourceful and have a strong desire to learn, problem-solve, and explore effective solutions using methodological and logical approaches. * Good time management and project management skills, including ability to plan work and meet deadlines. * Able to multi-task, work independently as an individual and effectively as a team.
