Oversee a portfolio of clients and demonstrate the ability to profitably grow clients and build long lasting client relationships
Provide overall strategic direction and quality standards and is dedicated to the achievement of outstanding results with a long-term perspective
Pro-actively manage client expectations and quickly grasp problems, make tough decisions and implement swift action plans to ensure client satisfaction
Maintain an in-depth understanding of the client's business and challenges and proactively communicate with clients on market or industry issues and events which may affect them
Team Leadership
Act as a leader to client teams and oversee team performance
Foster teamwork and build morale and motivation within account teams, ensuring good performance and efforts are recognized
Take an active involvement in the recruitment process of new staff to complement existing team and deliver client programs
Account and Fiscal Management
Act as a conduit between Finance and the client servicing team to ensure that accounts are profitably managed
Ensure Contracts and Terms and Conditions of Business are issued and signed by all new clients prior to commencement of work
Business Development
Actively generate new business leads
Manage the entire new business process from attending briefing sessions to leading brainstorm sessions, delegate key tasks and develop new business proposals
Proactively identify opportunities for organic growth with existing clients
Requirements
At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity within PR agency
Strong skills in leadership and team management
Strong business/commercial acumen and experience
Strong presentation and interpersonal communications skills
Fluency (verbal and written) in English
